The INFORMS meeting this week will be held on Wednesday, April 29th at 12:15pm in Durham 260 and will feature a presentation by Justin Hill on An Airspace Planning and Collaborative Decision-Making Model.
ABSTRACT By 2025, U.S. air traffic is predicted to increase two- to three-fold, and modernizing the air traffic control system is a major priority for the United States. To that end, several U.S. federal agencies, private companies, and academic institutions are collaboratively developing the Next Generation Air Transportation System (NextGen). One tool being developed in this effort is the Airspace Planning and Collaborative Decision-Making Model (APCDM). We describe the APCDM, present recent model enhancements, and provide experimental results. |
